Universal Preschool Updates

We are pleased to announce our participation in the Colorado Universal Preschool Program! 

Doing so allows you to receive funding towards our high-quality preschool services. The enrollment for Universal Preschool opens February 29th and we’d love to serve your family in the 2024-25 school year. Thanks to the new enrollment process, it’s now easier than ever to “match” with us in the Universal Preschool Portal.

For 3-Year-Old Universal Preschool:

Please know that 3-year-old UPK slots are very limited and are subject to meeting specific eligibility criteria. If you plan on applying for 3-year-old UPK, and your child is NOT on an IEP, you do not need to register in the Universal Preschool online portal. Eligibility will be determined by the Eaton School District/EELC and we will be reaching out to you in early March to go through an eligibility questionnaire. If you are a new family with intent on applying for 3-year-old UPK, please let our office staff know and we will be in touch to go over the eligibility questionnaire.

If your child is currently on an IEP and will be attending EELC next school year, we will be reaching out with further instructions once they become available.

 

For 4-Year-Old Universal Preschool:

The Pre-Registration/Enrollment portal for 4-Year-old UPK opens February 29th. Pre-Registration allows families with children already enrolled, children with siblings already enrolled, or families that have already submitted paperwork with the intent to enroll for the 2024-25 school year to “match” with us directly. There is a specific link that will be sent to those families on Thursday, February 29th. Please use the link and follow the specific guidelines to directly enroll your child with EELC and be directly matched with our school. Please check your email throughout the day on February 29th for the registration link! If you do not receive an email by Friday, March 1st, please reach out to the office.

It is our intention to keep lines of communication open and keep families informed throughout this process. We are always here to answer any questions and help along the way!
